Transforming this heritage building from a split tenancy arrangement into a single residence for a family with two teenagers saw the addition of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a new kitchen and living area.

The original architectural features of the building were retained to preserve the heritage value of the property and the added spaces were designed to maintain the character of the dwelling.

The original staircase was reinstated to allow free circulation between levels while the rear addition of an extra living area with shuttered windows increased the natural flow of air through the newly revitalised home.
